Incantation and Dance- William Grant Still

William Grant Still’s  “Incantation and Dance” is his only work originally written for oboe.  The first movement is beautifully soulful and lyrical, and could stand alone as a solo work for a beginner-plus oboe student. The “Dance” is more technical but still approachable for an intermediate level oboe student. Written for oboe with piano accompaniment.
